Keller Reading Room

The Keller Collection bookplate, designed by Pam Gillow

Located on the ground floor of the Biotechnology Building (Rm. G09), the Keller Reading Room offers a quiet and beautiful setting to work or read the latest molecular biology journals. Named after Elizabeth Keller, an avid reader of general books on science, the reading room provides faculty and students with access to an impressive list of resources:

  • Over 80 peer reviewed journals, many available online as full text
  • Graduate student theses dating back to the 1930’s
  • An extensive list of reference books, such as dictionaries, data handbooks, and safety guides
  • Almost 300 volumes of Methods in Enzymology, one of most highly respected laboratory standards of the last 50 years
  • A collection of exceptional books on science-related topics, which can be borrowed by members of MBG through the lending library
