Joining the Aquadro lab
Postdoctoral Fellows
Applications are welcomed at any time. Please send a statement describing your interests, a cv, and three letters of recommendation. Individuals are encouraged to propose projects that complement efforts currently underway in the lab, and who are interested in seeking external support for their training, Check out our “alumni” list to see where our former lab members and associates are now.
Graduate Students
Graduate students interested in our laboratory are encouraged to consider the direction they wish to pursue in the future. What kind of department do they wish to end up in? A Genetics or Molecular Biology Department, or one focused on Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. See the description of evolutionary genetics and genomics and Cornell at: http://www.mbg.cornell.edu/cals/mbg/prospective/graduate-programs/evo-genetics-genomics/index.cfm, including a list of relevant faculty and associated links.
Check out our “alumni” list to see where our former lab members and associates are now.
Undergraduate Students
We have several types of opportunities for undergraduates. They include formal undergraduate research for academic credit (BioG 299 and BioG 499), as well as paid research opportunities (such as Drosophila stock maintenance, computer programming, or molecular work). Undergraduates should email CFA1@cornell.edu with a resume plus a statement of interests and upcoming academic schedule. Check out our “alumni” list to see where our former lab members and associates are now.
