Brown Lab News:
Former graduate student, Dr. John A. Schmidt, has a new article recently published in the Journal of Cell Biology (JCB) entitled "Lysophosphatidic acid acyltransferase 3 regulates Golgi complex structure and function". This paper summarizes the bulk of his graduate research on characterizing the involvement of a lysophosphatidic acid acyltransferase 3 (LPAAT3) in both the formation of Golgi membrane tubules and membrane trafficking.
